This looks like the first time we have run Bathurst using AMS but back in 2016 using Game StockCar Extreme (precursor to AMS) the top qualification time was 2:07 by Ricardo gonebrokeracing.liveracers.com/Results/Result/e8fbce97-c302-46cd-90dc-734ad0f3b05aThe fastest real life time in the V8's at Bathurst was Jamie Wincup in 2015 with a 2:04.909 I am not sure what the times will be using AMS but my guess would be pretty close to that for the top qualifiers. Here is a setup I found over at race department. I haven't looked at it yet but here is a link to it www.racedepartment.com/threads/super-v8-bathurst.126209/Gotcha. Yea I am using that setup and I can get down in the 2:11 range. So I guess that isn't awful for learning Bathurst for the first time. |

2:11 is a very good time. Now do that for 35 laps and not hit the wall. 😀

That tune from race department is really great. I made 1 minor change to it and knocked 5 seconds off my first practice using the default tune.

Last time I did this combo, was in our last race with Game Stock Car back the last V8 season.
Man, in AMS it feels absolutely brilliant!
Hole moly...the fast right hander before The Chase is scary as hell, the car suddendly becomes light. First time there today the back end got loose and God gave it back to me, because I was already dead, and somehow manage to save it...lol
