I'm out tonight, guys. I'll spare the details, but I'm on some pain meds right now and am pretty groggy. Thankfully, it's nothing serious, but attempting 35 impaired laps up and down the mountain right now isn't going to do anyone any good.
Good luck out there tonight. Looking at the times so far, it looks like it's shaping up to be a hell of a race.

If I see 2:05's I think I might just have to give up on this whole simracing thing. I'm fine being 2 seconds off the top guys, but 5 seconds? No that will not due at all.

Great race, beautiful championship. I made a mistake on T1 and fell to the end of the grid. When I came back I hit the slow Armando on the track and whirled,,, I saw the yellow flag, but, when I passed Reagan stopped at the track and I found it was just him and I stood again, so Armando was more ahead and when I realized that It was too late already. I fucked my tires and had to change my strategy. But the handle with Hooper was worth it. Congrats, Man! Was a sensational rush,,, Wonderful track but, do not forgive the slightest mistake,,, Congratulations all on the champ and thanks for fun *** And,,, Sorry for my poor english.

Thanks for put this together to us, Jimmy. V8s are a tradition at GBR, and was great have one more season with it. Happy that I have now 3 V8s Championships in a row here a GBR!
Too bad we cant get more interest, also our new guys never showed up for the last round. Such a shame.
As for the race, as I said, impossible to do 2.06s or whatever. I did a perfect lap to get that low 2.07. Pretty happy with that. Pole Position spot on this track is wrong, so Armando got the inside line for T1, and jumped to the lead. We had a nice scrap for the lead in the first few laps. I managed a very good overtake on him on the run after T1, taking the lead...and after that he made a mistake ending our fight way too early. From then on was just a question of enjoy the ride and watch out for the different strategies. Probably this was my best performance of the season. Looks like an exciting chase from Jeff and Ricardo after Dale, I was watching that on my timings table. Good job, guys.
Cheers everyone, and congrats to the ones that endured the whole season.

Well for me I guess it could have been much worse. Lap 1 I see Ricardo goes wide on turn 1. He comes back on track behind me and of course is closing the gap very quickly. We start heading down the chase and I now he is going to pass me but to make it easier for him I move over to the left. Well I moved over to the left too far and I touched the grass as we head towards the slight right. I somehow manage to miss Jeff, Dale and Ricardo as they all are turning left and I'm headed straight towards them. I even managed to stop before I hit the wall, so no damage!
Now I'm back on the track and hunting down Ed. When I finally do catch and pass Ed for some dumbass reason I thought it would be good idea to look in my rearview as I head into turn 4. This causes me to spin, hit the wall and screw up my steering. I limp back to the pits, get repaired and I'm away. 2 laps later I've decided to reintroduce my car to the wall and really screw up the steering. Another limp back to the pits for more repairs and back to hunting down Ed.
My goal was to finish this race and I accomplished that goal. I would have liked to have finished on the same lap as the leaders but I'll take what I can get at Bathurst.
Thanks again for everybody that came out. Congrats to Angelo yet again for another GBR championship. Hopefully everybody's PC issues are now resolved and we can get some nice sized grids.

I had an OK race. Tapped the wall 3 times but no damage that affected the car other than off-centre steering. I had one scary moment when I spun in the Esses but amazingly I didn't hit anything and no one hit me.

So sorry guys. I moved last week and was completely sure I would make the race. Long story short I JUST got internet turned on in my new apartment yesterday. I feel awful. Yeah, it's that time of year again, isn't it? Everybody moving in for the fall. I had to miss the Bathurst race, too. Life happens sometimes. If you've got rFactor 2, there's an exhibition race tonight. Jimmy posted a thread over on the Exhibitions board with the details: gbr.proboards.com/thread/4429/rfactor2-radical-exhibition-silverstone-internationalThese cars are just about the opposite of what the V8s were. They're easy to handle momentum cars that are designed for the track. If there were any car you could just jump into with minimal practice, these are it.
