This track seems to have an issue when using Multiview, or at least it did for me. When I would go into the cockpit the screen was flickering. I turned off Multiview and the problem is gone.

We'll see if I can make this one.
It's Sunday...and I'm at work...again. Unfortunately I don't see it letting up for at least another month. There are times I hate my life right now. All I can say is I really don't want that kid back in my department if he comes back. He's got some growing up to do.

There was a request in the last race thread to share setups. Here's my set and a video for a 1:49.584. Video: sorry it's soft, I accidentally recorded at 1/2 resolution but you can see the pedal telemetry and gear choices. Not a perfect lap... I miss the apex at Outer Loop and have to lift slightly coming out of the boot. There's at least a 1:49.250 possible here and maybe a 1:49.0 on a perfect lap. Mainly, when I said something about setups, I just wanted to see how others might approach it, verse using another's setup (which is generally not a good idea and even harder to adapt to than working a car around the driver)... I've put in some laps at Watkins in the last few days and after messing around with the car some, and realizing I'd made a mistake in calculations when I adjusted rotation/lock on the car (not near enough lock...explains a LOT of the issue I was having...and realized that after I loaded default again) I seem to be decently on pace. Car is much more driveable...but some of that's probably just from doing laps in it. The miscalculated lock/rotation I overlooked wasn't helping though! 1:50 range for me right now, but feel I can do a little better on a good hotlap. |

I'm planning on racing. Probably won't do very well, hardly have any laps there. The main goal is to finish.

Due to the holidays we will be pushing this back 1 week and try again. I will also be testing some issues that came up during this race. When Jason left the game it caused myself and Scott's game to lockup. Also the timing was acting very strange. I have been looking for another version of Watkins Glen for AMS but so far no luck.
