Yeah I think I may have enough data left this month to dive in for another look, it's been a while so should be interesting.

Might wanna wait a bit if you haven't updated in a while, there's been a few big updates of over 1 gb in the past few weeks. Asides from the smoother graphics and gameplay they haven't added any road effects to the FFb so you'll still just be running the tire model for FFb and until they finish a model that gets the ok from the pro drivers I have no idea which tires to use so I just go with the default tire and setup. So far I really enjoy the Ariel atom and gt cars but I still find it takes to long to heat up the tires, but it's pretty cool how you can feel the tire stiffen up and gets grippier as the tire reaches optimal temp. Anyone know what the COG setting is or does in the tuning setup?

If you go into your steam library right click on on Pcars you can check for an update. What tier are you zero? Iam a senior member and was only supposed to get fri updates but have been getting daily builds for the past yr? But if iam correct team members and above have all been getting daily builds. In steam you can right click Pcars click properties and setup daily/weekly/monthly downloads. For the past 2 weeks the only car I've been driving is the Ariel atom I absolutely love how it drifts tho I should probably test some of the other cars maybe the Bac Mono will be next

I think I am a weekly build guy, hence why no update earlier this week. I can wait until tomorrow. Sent from my Nexus 5 using proboards

Cheers for the heads up mate, I'll hold off then, but can someone do me a favour and tell me the name of the 64bit exe for Pcars so I can pass it on to Gerben at Fanaleds.

ATM to activate x64 bit go to Pcars in your steam library right click select properties/launch options and type -x64 it's not fully implemented yet so not sure if this will help you much ?

I'm set for weekly but I seem to be getting daily builds. Perhaps they're major enough that they're being flagged as important updates.

Thanks for that Kurupt - I was only getting about 1 update/month. Just changed it as well.

Some big improvements lately. I drove the latest build last night with the California Highway track with rain and although things like the way rain builds on the windshield needs work the overall effect was good and the framerates were smooth. I'll post up my command line options later because that may have helped.

Yeah, it is coming along nicely.
I made the mistake of posting a thread in the General Discussion forum, in which I stated that I was not interested in testing anymore, but that I rather was hoping to experience the cars and/or tracks that are "finished" or "almost finished." I asked for recommendations. What ensued could only be called a mauling. Several longtime members, including several moderators, jumped my shit and accused me of violating the terms and conditions, because I was not "contributing" to the game and expected them to do all the work. I told them I had every right to simply play the builds. When one of them tried to rely on the terms for support, I cited specific language in the terms and conditions that made it crystal clear that there is no obligation for any member to test and/or provide feedback about the game (both of which I have done by the way) and that I instead have every right to simply play the builds. SMS gets feedback even when we just play the game.
Anyway, these douche bags tried to get legal with a lawyer, and they got their asses kicked. The thread eventually was locked by a more cool headed "super moderator" who confirmed what the terms said and that the vast majority of members do exactly what I do these days - Play the fucking game and enjoy it. Last time I checked that is no crime, nor does it violate any terms and conditions for any game out there.
