Happy Pcars payment day! I may not play the game as much but every 3 months it puts a smile on my face when I see that paypal notification Best $500 I've invested as I've already made back 3 times my money and the best part is the wife has no idea and can't figure out how I can keep affording new performance parts for the Jeep lol I think this payment will go towards some family xmas gifts. What have you guys spent your profits on ?

I'm only at Full Member level so there's not a lot coming my way. First payment just recovered my investment plus a few cups of coffee. This payment was modest at 27.54 Euros. I'll roll that into Nurburgring and the McLaren/Honda tomorrow at iRacing.
It is interesting seeing the financials though and how the console and PC markets compare (they make a lot more money on the console side).

So i had stepped away from pcars and did my usual round about racing other sims, but a few weeks back i had an issue where if my xbox1 controller was plugged in i couldnt launch any of my go too sims so i was left with just Dirt and pcars. So i fired up pcars and was slightly dissapointed in the ffb than i came across a thread with 4 little tweaks so i said what the heck ive already tried a million other tweaks why not 1 more.....Glad i did! use classic FFB settings FFB strength =100 Tire force 75-80% i prefer 75% on most cars Run the wheel check app to see what the min force is for your wheel mine is around .75-1.25% deadzone removal =.05 The money maker was deadzone fall off setting, this setting causes the wheel to have a heavy spring which was my biggest gripe and took away all the feel raise the slider to max right .10 and it disables it and makes it so much more natural like other sims. along with the improved ffb feel i also noticed i got a pretty decent performance boost with the latest build and can now run pcars on ultra with 20 ai at a smooth 60+ fps which made the experience even more enjoyable. So after a few days of getting back up to speed running against ai which isnt all that bad, i decide to see if anyone was even in the lobbies and too my surprise there was alot of races going on, so i decided to jump in a few.....typical shit drivers at the back of the pack that crash out by T1 but the front runners where clean and fast! I came across this 1 grroup based out of the states that runs Nascar road races using the New Ford Fusion nascar and the Mustang Trans-am cars and oh my god those things are a blast to drive and highly recommend o try The mustang is a base content car and the Ford Nascar is in the American dlc which is a really good car pack! store.steampowered.com/app/334793/15 Corvette C7.R gt3 15 Cadillac gt3 15 ford Fusion Nascar 2014 Dallara DW12 Indycar Hopefully SMS will eventually get all the promised features into the game and not keep them for the release of pcars2

Hmm, I may have to fire it back up. It's been months since I last tried it.

Have a couple days off, so was able to fire up pCars and used Kurupt's suggestions and it does feel really good. The game runs very smooth and I'm getting between 90-110 fps in cockpit view. When viewing replays I'm getting around 70-80 fps on average. This game has always looked gorgeous, just wish the side monitors weren't stretched out, but with the seat moved up closer to the dash it's not too bad.
I bought the US Race Car Pack for $3.49 (had to try the C7.R) and I was pleasantly surprised how good it feels. Also, I took too much curb a couple times and around I went. This was great as it definitely feels more "sim" like than it used to. The Caddy is awesome as well and I even took the Dallara a couple laps around Oultan Park.
My favorite car in this car is still the Ariel Atom 500 V8 beast. That car is SO much fun to drive.
