Stock car coming for pCARS in Friday's build ! Well I don't know for sure but I am pretty certain it will be there  It is based on some kind of older stock car, not the current ones I think  That's ok, the current generation of stock cars are crap!  Now bring in some of the Grand National/Winston Cup cars from the mid to late eighties...now we're talking. Hell, I'd be half tempted to run them since I grew up watching them every Sunday. The modern "spec" cars are lame IMO. |

I ran the Palmer around Rouen last night. Fun little car. I've got to start dialing down the eye candy though to get a better framerate.  |

I am having trouble getting a decent frame rate in this game with the triple screens and my dual 560tis. I am insistent that I run the game, and any other triple screen games, at 5760 X 1080, and so that means I have to turn down the eye candy. Even though I have done that substantially, I am still only getting frame rates that hover around 30 FPS, with frequent drops down into the high 20s. I tried turning off AA entirely last night, but that resulted in the dreaded jaggies. |

I find that although you can drive the cars at 30fps rate it is not always fun. Need to get into the 40+ fps minimum before it starts to be smooth. Depends on the car and especially the track. The very initial versions of a track can sometimes deliver pretty good frame rates, but then as they add stuff it goes down and down... until someone comes around and does a optimization  I you really want to sink your frame rate try adding MT to the end your program target. ie -MT or -DX11MT I think it is intended as for anti-aliasing or something. Anyway when I tried it dropped frame rate from 30+ to low teens/single digits But I think the picture looked a lot better |

For my SLI brothers... have any of you tried renaming the EXE as suggested for SLI? I read in the forum if you remane it to AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe you'll maybe see higher framerates with SLI.
I'm working a half-day today... will be giving it a try later.
Also, I'm new to pCARS... is there a multiplayer option so we can have a race/practice session together?

Unfortunately, there is no multiplayer mode at the moment. Hoping they implement that soon.

How the heck do you turn on headlights? I can't find a keyboard reference that show the key for it.

defaults to #3 on numeric pad you can change it in the Options where you map your wheel/pedals wow Watkins Glen is quite something from the cockpit of an Audi R18 at 11pm unfortunately fps takes a big hit, Lemans does not have all lighting added yet so you can run that one at night with quite good fps, but it is not as pretty  |

Ah, thanks. Still finding my way around the menus. Lighting effects are nice... makes me want to pick up a DX11-capable card  |

likely get the first oval track in pCARS this Friday seems 'very' loosely based on Indianapolis which is interesting because other tracks to date seem to be done as realistic as possible even though they may not 'yet' be licensed... |
