Practice server is up. One of my recent "new" favourite tracks. This was a classic UK track but has been neutered with two chicanes in the modern layout. It's still a great track though. Be very careful at Turn 2. Although barely a turn, the V8s do not like it and you'll be headed for the grass if you'r etoo aggressive.

Was running the WTCC cars here this past Saturday. Going to be an interesting track for sure w/ the V8s. Looking forward to it.

That track is hella fun with the V8's!
However... I am not so sure about the NAGT cars and people gripe about them enough as it is.
I may switch up the track for NAGT.

Give it a few days on the server Kelly and see what we think before changing out the track, unless you feel it just wont work, my feelings for the NAGT mod are getting better now that I'm back on the wheel, had a blast @ Bathurst. But all the mods I did not struggle with on the controller are giving me fits w/the wheel... ;D |

so practicing for track & finally hit 35s but an odd lap one of a big slide & a slight cut on last chicane plus a coupla other mistakes 34s could be a goer

Damn you were flying Smokey. Great lap. Driving on the edge the whole time. This track is awesome and will make the hair raise on the back of your neck.

thanks Hawks whole time i was trying was to equal or beat your time lol i still think theres more. i said to helios hawks will beat it now he has something to aim for ;D

I doubt I will beat that time. I'm guessing Stinky is practicing as we speak.  I ran a lot of laps a couple weeks ago, but as per my usual I was getting slower and slower after I hit that 1:35.9. Been staying away from it lately since we still have a week and a half until the race. We shall see if it helps....likely not. |

would you guys mind telling me what tuning of the trackbar and grill tape does?
Not that ill be able to run in this series due to work but i love the cars none the less,seriously struggle and suck in them, havent executed two clean turns yet without losing the back end lol
does the read me text file helios posted in another thread apply to all v8's or just certain tracks? i just found that and have yet to change it....any tuning tips for these cars? from my few attempted laps so far out of the box they understeer in high speed turns and oversteer on exit.....ive made some tweaks to make them more managable for me but still way off, i have to baby the shit out of them to get around the track somewhat safely lol
