Good deal Lance. It will be nice to have you. I am looking forward to us Caddy drivers kicking ass all over the Vettes and McLarens. LOL!

Bummer for you then. It looks like I am the only Caddy driver at this point.

I will be in a Caddy as well (Not that it really helps you kick ass or anything.)

I'll see what I can do with the caddy, but atm this track and my style aren't going together very well. It's gonna tack some time, but I figure if I can tune one for laguna I can do one here very tempted to pick up the vette and give it a run? Trying to put in $60 bucks every pay day for content till have all the road tracks and cars I want, then ill slowly chip away at the oval content Damn the price of this game! But the more I play the better it gets and I can justify the cost. Still needs some improvements but its ever evolving every season with updates. Glad I got into it unfortunately its making my love for other games dissipate. Love the tuning and adds for the others but the cars feeling and subtle ffb I get in iracing is just awesome .

Right now tha base tune seems to working fairly well for me. I can get it around the track without sliding all over the place and while I don't have a benchmark of what others are running I am turning mid 2:09's with it atm.

Yup, the more iRacing I play, the less I want to play other sim racing games, particularly console and/or older games. At this point, the only games that give it a run for its money are rFactor, rFactor 2 and F1 2012, all for PC, and of course, all of which support triple screens.

Ya dark iam running the same times, iam finding the understanding in the caddy is really hampering my times...I figure if I can get good turnin and a stable rotation mid corner the caddy could hit 2.07s...just gotta find that happy medium

Can't get into F1 2012, maybe the formula rim may change that, iRacing, yes and no...blow hot and cold on that, one race great, next in with a bunch of timmies and that €800 for everything, and that will keep rising as they add cars and tracks. rF2 well we all know that is my pick of the new sims...it drives me up the wall because it highlights my every weakness but it feels so good...and of course content will keep coming for free. Yes I know one or two of the modding crews are going to try the pay model, but just as many live by the free to play model.

The force feedback and physics feel amazing, and the graphics are growing on me, particularly with the eye candy full blast and the triples. I am also excited to see so many awesome mods on the horizon, including the V8 Supercars and F1 2013 mods. My guess is that the formula rim will make F1 2012 a new game for you. The T500 F1 rim sure made the difference for me. Yeah, the physics are not as realistic as rFactor 2, but that is OK. It really hit me this weekend how much I am moving past Forza and GT5. I love both games, but I just do not look forward to playing them nearly as much as I enjoy the PC sims.

Just don't call them "tunes" in the iRacing forums - nobody will know what the heck you are talking about... ;-)
rF2 is fun, but performance blows.

That was my experience with rFactor 2 until Build 146. They seem to have nailed it. It runs silky smooth now on my triples with most eye candy set to max.

I've got an i7 960 and 7970 ATI card in Eyefinity and I have to run at 4800 x 900 with no shadows to keep it from stuttering. iRacing runs 10x better.
