Sorry for the delays that I started with my FFB issues, but thanks for giving me time to give it a shot to get in.

Nice job Boza! Great job by the stewards in getting us going despite the technical issues. You guys do a great job! Big shout out to Dale and Jason for hanging in there and making it happen tonight.

Congrats to Boza, great job!
Note to self: When soft tires fall off they fall off HARD AND FAST! Felt like I went from rubber to rim in a manner of seconds.

Our strategy almost worked. Started the Velocity Worldwide Ford Falcon on pole, but with Hard tires, I had to let Jeff and, eventually, Boza go. I felt super-consistent though, but I was just too hard on the tires I guess. We pitted right on Lap 20, and after both my foes cycled, I was ahead; Jeff dispatched me rather aggressively, and pulled out by about 5-6 seconds. Then he got into it with a lapped car and suddenly I was in the lead--but Boza was only 5 seconds back and closing fast. Had the race been one lap shorter, I would have won, but going into the hairpin on the last lap, he got a run on me around the outside, and my back tires were DONE, so I just hung on for dear life and crossed the line in second. I guess I'm happy, for a debut performance. But it's hard not to be a bit disappointed at what could have been. Adelaide owes me one--I wrecked every single race I ever ran here in HGT. I will say though, at tracks that AREN'T as hard on tires as Adelaide, I think the Hards might be the better choice. I was super-consistent on them until the final 2-3 laps of a run. Congrats to Boza, good to see him get his first win--even if he disappeared from ESR to do it! When's the video coming?

I had a great time. Despite driving like a tool shed. I'll get better with practice.
