Thanks Tony, very helpful. I can hit low 52's. It's the hairpin that drives me bonkers, I just can seem to carry enough speed through that section. I have to get a better feel for the braking into and maintain speed through the exit. I like these car and may have to try a series race, if you guys will allow someone to jump in? Jim

oh yeah! Jim, if you free jump in anytime brother.that hairpin is tight, i see a few guy. in the run off there, and that wall will bite the best of drivers.i ran two 42 lap race here Saturday, and the field was very tight. for about ten laps.a couple wrecks and pit stops really spread the field out, but! still i was in traffic a lot.

I knew my top spot wouldn't last long once the big boys started hitting the practice server. I am feeling very happy with my 1.52:786 but since you only beat me by 4 hundredths of a second I will see if I can catch you.
This track should be insane with 25 cars on it.

fark what a pain this track is  I keep forgetting to go to 1st at hairpin, im gonna have to do some practice on this one... |

it was there last night? there was about 6 drivers on there laying down some pretty good times.
i was a nice road block for them.got to tweaking on the car after being very tired. and tuned it right out of the box lol!!!

Hey Jim - be sure you go in and sign up for an open car. We don't allow more than 2 drivers per team to avoid issue with pitting. Here is the thread. gbr.proboards.com/thread/326/team-pits-car-choiceRight now, the Tony D'Alberto Racing (Wilson Security) #3 car is available. It's a Ford, so will make Tony very happy. If you want that one, go in and make your claim in that thread. If you want to go Holden, there is only one car on the Lucus Dumbrell Racing team. It's a one car team, but we are allowing 2 cars/team, so you can use the same car but different liveries. I'm waiting to hear from a couple drivers that are signed up, but haven't heard much from them. If I don't hear anything over the weekend, those cars will be opened up as well. |
