I ran a race with the AI yesterday with 25 cars and turn 4 and turn 6 were pretty rough. I was mid pack and had to brake way earlier than normal. Took a few laps to spread out so a full grid on this tiny track is going to be interesting. 23 laps on inters was no problem though.

Hey, at least you are hitting the 51's consistently. I've hit the 51's a couple times out of sheer luck, but I'm typically running mid to low 52's. Will keep trying to find the right balance before the race, but as of now I'm just hoping for a top 10. lol well I wouldn't say consistently maybe 2 in a row then 5 or 6 low 52s then a 51 im more of pepper them in there lol im just hoping to finish race with no accidents or flats and gotta keep outta sand its like quicksand lol edit: ok fluked a 51.675

It's not bad once things spread out. Plus I trust you guys a lot more in traffic than some of the jackasses that entered the R2P race.

With the top ten times all within less than a second this should be some interesting racing for sure. Of course that's if people aren't sandbagging lol

Man, some of you guys have more than 350 laps on the liveracers server. That doesn't include laps done locally offline. Don't you guys play any other racing games?

When you have V8's, what else do you really need?

I don't practice offline either. Sometimes the lapcount can be deceiving though. I think they count the minute you hit the track as a lap whether you complete it or not. So for myself I've done alot of start/stop/start laps and laps to test things totally not related to actually trying to put laps down.

I do practice for the V8s more than any other series, with the possible exception of the NASCAR iRacing series, in which I usually do about 100 laps or so in advance of the race. My reasoning is that I know those races are awfully important to guys and I don't want to ruin anyone's race if I can help it, by missing braking points, etc. For V8s, I tend to do 30-50 laps in advance of the race. I like the rFactor force feedback on the Clubsport wheel better than on my prior wheel, the T500. That helps motivate me to do more practice and participate in more rFactor events.

I am only two leagues and this one is way more serious than the btcc league I am in. I feel I need as much time on the track as I can get to try and keep up with you aliens!
