I'm getting an error once I enter this track, online or offline I get the same warning of a "11_VE.HDE or track config" mismatch any ideas for a remedy?
One of the TUM guys that signed up awhile ago "Upnorthdog" got a hold of me and wanted me to let you all know that he won't be making any races for awhile. He is taking care of his parents and his dad went into the hospital. I'm not sure what series he was planning on running, maybe V8's.

I did, that's where I got the track from, not sure why it's giving me a disagreement but it's weird. Maybe I'll just try again with the download to ensure it's not just a weird unpack. I used 7zip to unpack which usually never gives me any trouble. I'd hate to miss this first race that I can actually make because of a silly config problem.

If I remember correctly hawks made mention that other unpacking programs might cause problems. I forgot which program he suggested to use but it's mentioned in the video.

Thanks for the heads up Kevin. Sorry to hear about his father. I don't think he's signed up for any series. He may have run Spazcar a few times if I remember right. I'll go ahead and remove his account for now, but let him know that he's welcome to sign back up whenever he's ready.

I would definitely use WinRar Brent. Also, there is a video tutorial on how to install the config file in the downloads section. If you have any further issues, let me know and myself or one of the other Stewards and remote in to try to see what the issue is.
Okay problem solved, as usual the error was mine, it was the config file that I didn't download, I thought the track pack was a solve all, I just needed to read through the download page post more carefully and have the patient moderators remind me to do so.

This track is kicking my butt. I'm losing major time in Sector 1 at the braking point to the hairpin. Can't seem to find a good balance. I'm either braking too earlier or too late and locking them up. Then on the last corner (the sweeping left hander) having a hell of a time getting the power back down as the ass end wants to kick out on me.
For such a simple little track, it's quite a paint in the arse!

I simply can not break out of the 51.7s here on the inters.
I know where I'm losing it too... it's mostly T2. That one corner and the subsequent run down to the hairpin is costing me about 0.5 seconds. I just need to find the right line through T1/2.

exactly same for me I can hit 51.8s/9s 'easily' enough but cant find anything else damn this gonna be a bad start to season.. Adelaide now Symmons Plains lol

Hey, at least you are hitting the 51's consistently. I've hit the 51's a couple times out of sheer luck, but I'm typically running mid to low 52's. Will keep trying to find the right balance before the race, but as of now I'm just hoping for a top 10.
It's going to be really tough as we all accordion into the hairpin. I see some locked brake and cooked brake marker accidents coming here. Short and furious is how this race will play out, and thanks hawks, I'm looking forward to getting back on the track as well.
Hey F1 is my paint in the skin pack now? I downloaded it and the window name said stinkyfife so I wasn't sure if that was the current one or a past one? I'm excited to rock the rainbows again, it was a sweet paint. I've been spoiled the past two seasons with sweet liveries by our resident painters.
