Good test on Sunday for sure. Need a lot of work on my tune with inters. Don't think I will have much time, so will probably go with softs and 2 stops. Watch out for John Nelson guys. He's one quick mo fo!  3 stops for me on softs. And yeah John Nelson is really fast, found that out while racing him in enduracers!!  |

In just over an hour, the V8 Supercars will hit the track for the one and only event in the United States this season. The Circuit of the Americas will arguably be the most technical track we face. As usual, tire wear will play a huge factor. It appears softs will require no less than 2 stops while some may choose to go with 3. I have a feeling that several drivers may mix in softs with inters throughout the race, but we shall see. While qualifying is always very important, I don't feel it is quite as important as our last 2 races due to the layout and different strategies that will take place.
COTA is known for uphill turn 1. There is plenty of room as you enter the turn, but narrows out quickly as you exit it, so please be cautious of other drivers.
The race will be 35 laps with one mandatory, 4 tire change pit. Qualifying will start at 7:15 pm PDT (approx 1 hr 15 min from now). Please try to be on the server by 7:00 so we hopefully don't have to delay the start due to technical issues. Let's have a good, clean, hard fought race. Good luck and look forward to seeing you on track!

This would be why Kelly and I dropped: Motherfuc*ers. I practiced my ass off for this one. I had a fantastic tire strategy playing out. Should've placed top-5.  |

Awsome race guys!!!Totally Happy with a top Five my this car rocked! and Battling with Smokey and Jeff made it that much more fun...... with the 2 stopper race on softs. the car ran really good in a the later run. i could'nt ask for a better race. |

Awsome race guys!!!Totally Happy with a top Five my this car rocked! and Battling with Smokey and Jeff made it that much more fun...... with the 2 stopper race on softs. the car ran really good in a the later run. i could'nt ask for a better race. lol ya my last pitstop of 16sec put me behind Hawks for the last stint  and it was just a farkup from there had an awesome time racing tony again but I kept spinning myself with too lower gear changes by accident did it about 4 or 5 times in last stint I was a solid 3rd I reckon up until then oh well had fun LOL |

Good race guys. Last minute decided to try a 3 stopper. My original plan was to go 15 laps on inters, then switch to two stints of softs. Realized my pace was way off on inters, so bagged it and went 3 stops on softs. For once my strategy actual worked out and got my first podium of the season! Congrats to Bence on his victory - very impressive indeed. Also, thanks again for editing the track so we had the chance to race the actual V8SC layout. Appreciate everyone who turned out for this one. I was a little disappointed with the #'s (only 22 this race), so hoping we can get the #'s up to 25+ again next race. (I know, sounds weird saying 22 is a disappointment doesn't it). |

This would be why Kelly and I dropped: Yep, my internet is still pretty sketchy even now. On the plus side, got to run with some folks tonight, worked my way to an early top ten and seemed to be running strong so I'm cool with it. No point in stressing out in the grand scheme. Cheers! |
