Have the day off and started browsing around for mods and came across this one. Spent about an hour trying out the different cars and they look and feel really good. They have a good grip level and do have the option to use RealFeel (a must for any rF1 mod in my opinion). Has lots of cars to choose from, including the McLaren, GTR, Audi R8, BMW Z4, SLS AMG, 458 Italia, Porsche 997, Gallardo and a couple more.

Version 1.2 Download info:

New version of this mod has just been released. You guys thought the sounds were good in the last version - this one blows it away from what I've heard so far. Also, there are all new physics on this version.

Still getting major frame rate issues on my machine during a race, but smooth as glass and 300-400 fps during practice.

Here is the link to version 1.2. I would recommend you delete your old version completely and put in a fresh install of rFactor.

I still think Enduracers is King, but I think it feels grippier than the GT1/GT3 mod. I'm probably not the best one to ask since I have not spent much time the GT1/GT3 mods. Curious what you guys think.

I did some testing tonight with this mod. Tried running an offline race with 19 AI cars and it has horrible frame rates and big time stuttering on my machine. Let me know if you guys have the same issue.

Hope it's just on my end bad because it looks like a very promising mod.

Fixed the stuttering issue by using Wombat's NVidia fix. Forgot all about this tweak, but seemed to do the trick. Frame rates are still lower than I think they should be with 20 cars on the grid, but once the race gets going they improve.

I zipped the Vantage and the Audi around the ring last night with only some minor tweaks to handling.

I also took the Mclaren, 458, Vantage, and Audi around Mosport.

The cars handle very nicely but still bite back if you get too greedy with them.

The sounds are very well done and the cockpit views are good. Graphics are pretty much on par with the other mods we've run though the Audi cockpit left a bit be desired but at speed I am focused on he track and not the roll cage.

There are a couple different levels of cars in the mod and the car selection is good but not many teams within each car.

That being said, given as how each GBR sub series only sees about 10 drivers average, that probably wouldn't be much of an issue.

My thoughts so far.

I like this mod - the cars feel and sound really good. I read they are working on an update where they will improve the sounds even more. My only concern is do we have too many sports car series already (Sunday Enduracers and Thursday's GT Gauntlet).

I would suggest we run an exhibition with these one night to get a feel how many like it.

How is your frame rates and stuttering with 20 cars on the grid?

I will load up a full grid tonight and see what things are like for stuttering.

I had 10 on last night with no issues (about a regular size turnout for the sub series).

You can never have too many sports car series IMHO. Heh
