Damn, I just deleted it and it still gives me the same exact mismatch. I guess I'm out :/

I'm sure Dale will chime in. I wonder if deleting the HAT file off the server would help.

I'm sure Dale will chime in. I wonder if deleting the HAT file off the server would help. Has absolutely nothing to do with the client side, so I really doubt it. Hat files are a cash file of track elements that get created when you load the track the first time so it will load faster from then on. I'd have to say at this point Marc may have a bad or conflicting track file somewhere. Maybe as said before, Dale may have more useful info. One thing I would try is to delete the hat, track and any save info for that track and try again fresh.

What save info would you suggest to delete? Setups?

What about the whole UserData folder? Deleted setups, HAT file again, track, man, this just isn't my week, is it? There's another event I might be doing at the same time so there's a chance I may or may not be able to make it anyways, but, I would like to just hopefully get this thing fixed.

Yeah the HAT files are cached track textures and stuff and only need to be correct locally (the server shouldn't have a copy... any on the server now are an accidental result of me copying my rF folder to the server). Didn't someone have a mismatch once and we suspected it was the common track files in the Location root. commonmaps.mas and terrain.tdf. Got another rF install Marc? Check that you have those files in the HistorX Locations folder and that they're the same as your other mod's track folders.

Just tried that and it didn't work - keeps saying 'Track Geometry' and 'Laguna67.gdb' mismatch no matter what I do to it.

I'll poke around but I am pretty sure I downloaded it to the server from my own Dropbox since the server was rebuilt and had no tracks.

Marc, this is just the .gdb file from a working copy of the track. It's very small, but give it a try. Just replace the one in the track folder and see what happens. Laguna.gdb

I reloaded the track and restarted the server. Can you try one more time?
