Of course you can, Jim. Marc, glad you enjoyed the races you could make. Thanks for putting them on and for trying so hard to help me with this technical issue. Next season I might try just doing a full new install if I have to.

I see Geoff is getting a mismatch. I am going to try to allow mismatches on the server. Stay tuned...

I changed the server settings to allow mismatches. Hopefully Marc and/or Geoff will try again.

I hate to say this guys, but I am to sick to race. Nose running all over the place, major headache and lack of concentration. I just can't drive like this. I really like this track, hopefully it will make a return in one of our future HistoriX series/Races.

It just wasn't my night. I thought I had the 68 figured out but needed more warm up seat time. Real life happens to us all. Then connection problems, What are you going to do? I had a ton of fun racing with you guys in the series and love this mod. Please keep me posted on future Historix and thanks for putting up with me. Jim

Well guys, that wraps up our second season of HistorX at GBR. I originally ran these cars for others but wound up loving the Firebird. I had a blast battling it out with Jim T for most of the season. I think had he not missed a race and had technical problems late in the season he may have won it. I'll never understand why more guys don't like the mod. It's by far my favorite.
As I mentioned, I have some ideas and suggestions on what to run but will start thinking about it a little hard in the next few weeks. I want to run some exhibition races before kicking off a new season. If you have any cars you'd like to run I will add them to the list. The important part is finding a few that mesh well together.
Thanks again for supporting the series!!

I would like to get a crack at the Pantera. So something using that class would be cool. I'll look at some of the other cars also a bit later.
So who won last night?
Edit: So will we be using the 1.96 version from now on?

Sherburn won race 1 and I won race 2.
And yes, we'll move onto 1.96. It's not hugely different but for newcomers with Steam it makes the install cake.

efnet had run a class with the following cars but I need to test them and see which tracks. Maybe trim down the car list or something. I think Chris was keen on this class as well.
BMW CSL Schnitzer 3.5 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Chevrolet Corvette 350 (1974) DeTomaso Pantera (factory cars) Ford Capri 3100 Porsche 911 RS 2.8 (the RSR was an admin approval option)

Wait, what about the TVR? I know it isn't exactly 1970s, but, would that be competitive? Because that thing is just a ball to drive!

Here is a list of cars I would not mind seeing in an upcoming series. And I don't mean to have all of them in the same series.
Renault A110 1800WB ------- A310 Austin Healey 3000 Any of the Chevy Corvettes Pantera Factory Ferrari Daytona FORD Capri (Any) ---- Escort ---- GT40 Maserati Tipo Shelby Cobra (Any) ------ Daytona TVR Griffith 400
And any of the others you may feel to put in to a series.
