 We go cross-country to Laguna Seca for the next round of the series. Just three races left in the series. DATE: 12/13 TIME: 7:15 PT / 10:15 ET TRACK: Laguna Seca 67 TRACK LINK: See Downloads threadQUALIFICATION: Practice times from the session just before the event will be used to set the grid RACE LENGTH: Race #1 - 20 minutes - Begins at 10:30 PT barring any technical issues Race #2 - 20 minutes - Begins after a 5 minute warmup/break and will have an inverted grid FLAGS: Black Flags Only. Blue Flags will show but no penalty will be issued. DRIVER AIDS: Auto Clutch; Low Traction Control (please only use if you must) PIT: Driver's choice FUEL: 2X TIRES: 2X DAMAGE%: 50 MECHANICAL FAILURE: Normal SETUPS: Open SERVER LIVE: 12/6 |

Bad news for me too. My wife informed me that we are one of the hosting houses for our neighborhood Christmas Crawl this Friday. thought I was going to be able to duck out and join the fun after the race. With our time slot everyone will be getting to my house about the time the race starts. So sadly I miss this one too. My decision to let the kids play on the Friday after Thanksgiving looms large. No chance at catching David, all I can hope for is to score enough points to hold on to a podium spot. Jim

Not gonna be there. View from my hotel room: Great view. I got my first speeding ticket on that bridge back in high school.  Was coming back from a movie with my girlfriend and there was nobody else on the bridge (or so I thought). It's about a 3 1/2 mile straight shot and I gunned it. Getting close to the Washington side and a set of headlights came on a ways in front of me. Oregon State Police nailed me dammit. I tried to argue that he got me on the Washington side, but the judge disagreed. Ticket upheld and down came the gavel. Grrr! |

I will be there. Geoff aka heartburn aka my boss) is a very strong maybe, depending on his internet connection install. He is getting new service tomorrow so hopefully the install will be done in time for the race.

We can tag this track back on the tail end. I'll do just that for this one. Sorry for the couple of you that could make it. I understand guys have stuff going on (as do I) and I want to see this to the end, but if it continues with dismal turn out I'll be making the HistorX events exhibitions that will only run every once in a while. I'll update the calendar. |
