Great job Craig. I hope to get some laps in this weekend. Let's jump into a race at some point. They are "fun" races, no SR or points. If that sounds fun, just text me when it's convenient. Sent from my HTC One X using proboards

Cool. I'll take a look at the schedule this weekend to see what works and let you know.

Week 13 - no surprise... I won't run this car in the heat of battle at Bathurst until the official season. The wreckers are afraid to run this car when their SR is on the line. It was much better than I thought it would be, at least in the race I ran last night. I was running mostly with Aussies and those guys are just downright cool (and fast!!!). They did not touch me when they were passing and they were patient as we crawled through the curves up to and down the top of the mountain. The V8 grew on me last night. That likely would not have happened if I had not committed myself to running the entire 15 lap race. The car is definitely twitchy, but not unreasonably so. I found that my throttle control needed to be smoother, no gunning it, particularly out of the turn right after the first straight. Moreover, second gear is an absolute no-no. I am not using any traction control, like I use with the ORSM V8 Supercar. That means that at least for me, the iRacing car is not as forgiving as the ORSM version. But, I could feel what it was doing and the FFB is nice and strong. I hope that with the NTMV5 that we can better feel what the rear is doing and catch more of the slides before we go past the point of no return. Spinning out is a real problem in the first half of the track.
