OMFG! The game looks SO nice. Runs smooth as silk at 60fps. Only 1.5 hours in and many more to go but dang!

How would you rate the single player gameplay? I want to pre-order a game for the Xbox One and it sounds like this would be good to show off the graphics capability...

id probably not use BF4 to show off graphics for next gen on either console really the bone is 720p & PS4 is 900p... I mean they will look better than consoles of old but I was expecting 1080p for both with every game   |

I don't play the single player portion in BF so can't comment on it. Multiplayer has been good so far. The maps are really dynamic. Few bugs here and there. I've had some game crashes but overall, very enjoyable!

I'm really tempted to buy this game. I used to play COD on the xbox for a few years but got burned out on it.
I have a wired xbox controller. Have you heard if the controller works ok on this game on the PC?

As Smokey mentioned you can use a controller on the PC game.
Well I made it to 5am before I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer and had to get some sleep.
Going to have a shower, some breaky and get back at it! My goal is Lvl 12 and I'm halfway there.

I took launch day off work and I need some eye candy other than LEGO; Marvel Super Heroes (getting that for the g/f). I refuse to buy FM5, there is no Halo for launch day (I'm surprised by that). CoD is rumoured to be 720p as well so that doesn't help me decide. |

So after nearly a full day of playing I'm happy overall. There are couple of very frustrating glitches but I know they will get worked out.
There is a "Sound Loop" crash that will need to be sourced out. Basically your sounds starts looping, screen freezes and you have to Alt-Tab out, kill the process and restart. There have been random desktop crashes as well and instances where the full server crashes. Those are the most serious and are affecting more than a few people.
There are a couple of maps where the sound cuts in and out but a patch will be forthcoming. They already put out a 600mb update this morning.
Didn't quite make my level goal but got to Level 10 overall so good start for the game.

I picked up the game last yesterday and put a few mins in last night in champaign mode....graphically it looks fantastic, runs smooth on triples @ high. Iam using an xbox controller and struggling a bit with functions....they have many options mapped to the same button that don't quit work properly when you need it to....for instance crouching behind cover than leaning around for cover fire....minor more than likely just me not knowing what iam doing I did have some crashes when loading a few games and read about a lot sound issues. On my part nothing too major I'll give it a good run this evening if you have any controller tips you could pass along it would be greatly appreciated Origin gt: Kuruptcdn |
