 The inaugural Blancpain GBR Championship kicks off in Melbourne, Australia's Albert Park circuit. The 5.3 km circuit is best known as the most recent home of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. Being a temporary street circuit, this round will put drivers to the test with a 45 minute race surrounded by walls with little room for error. DATE: 1/15 TIME: 7:15 PT / 10:15 ET TRACK: Albert Park TRACK LINK: See Downloads & Tips thread QUALIFYING: 15 minutes RACE LENGTH: - Intermediate - 45 minutes FLAGS: Black Flags Only.  The start of the season would prove to be eventful with the need for numerous restarts followed by a shortened race due to technical problems. Newcomers to GBR, Angelo dos Santos and Caleb Marklein would snatch the front row of the grid. The start of the race would see the pair drive off immediately gapping the rest of the field. A turn one incident sent P3 qualifier Armando Edwards back a few spots and allowing Tony Harper to take over third. A hard charging Armando Edwards would take third from Harper on lap 3, only to give it back just one lap later. The podium would remain unchanged to the checkered flag giving dos Santos a win in his very first GBR race. He would also secure the fastest lap bonus to pull off the triple crown of pole, fastest lap and race win. Gingras and Edwards cap off the top five. The highest climber bonus would go to Kelly Gingras. Since we ran just over 25 minutes we will award the points equal to one of our sprint races. Finishing order:1 dos Santos 2 Marklein 3 Harper 4 Gingras 5 Edwards 6 Green 7 Lory 8 Woloshyn 9 Regan 10 Sherburn 11 Fernandes 12 Armstrong 13 Wheat 14 Hawks 15 McDonough 16 Derbin 17 Diamond Official Standings |

What are the in-game qualifying and race times of day? Practice, Quali and warm-up are set to RFM default. Race time is set to noon. |

My wifes birthday is today so we are going out tonight. So if I make it depends on what time we get home and what my BAC is by then. I hope to be there!
