Server updated. New rfmod (needed only if the mod doesn't autodownload for you, this rF2 build has an issue with that for some people): bhs.dynalias.org:64297/Mods/GBRV8Palm2.rfmodLMK if you can't connect. It will be 15-30 min or so until I can test.

I got the new version installed and I am having a hell of a time keeping the car on the track. I am using the same setup I was using last night and now the car is all over the place. The rear end is breaking free in 3rd gear going into 4th. I am taking a break and might try again later, but this update makes the car feel totally different for me. Hey Jimmy - try lowering your track bar. That seems to help stabilize the rear quite a bit.

Some folks mentioned the force feedback was weak with the CSW. I went in and lowered the steering rate from the default 20% down to 1% and turned up the FFB multiplier to 1.20. That made a huge difference and feels excellent now.

Got a setup from Hawks last night that made a world of difference. Thanks Jason!

Is anyone planning on practicing tonight? I'll be on tonight around 10ish. I need to get all the practice I can get cause I'm having a hard time trying to figure out this track. I have understeer during entry and then oversteer on exit I can't get rid of.

Yeah guys, they can get frisky at the backend and old sets prob won't work. You can get them to behave with some setup tuning. I'm pretty much on my old times with this version after some practice.
There ended up being no changes from the test patch to this release.

Haven't tried the new version yet but I couldn't keep the backend under me on the old version even though the front tires were melting. I'll hop on tonight too for a while and see what happens.

I find a much more traditional setup is required now and they react to setup changes better. No more running high rear ARB. As usual they require good throttle control and I found if you usually run a low degree of rotation like myself you will benefit from raising it a touch. Get it all right and you'll get the power down on corner exit no probs. We have less weight over the rear wheels now as we are forced to use the correct weight balance.

Not the only thing changed....Motec showed there was no front downforce (even though Kangaloosh was returning all the correct data) so the suspension was re-done as was the inertia and brake temps. Now the car feels like it has weight over the front and seems to react accordingly.
Another thing I found for those struggling with the rear, lower your trackbar settings. I usually run this very high but discovered the rear behaves much better around 14.0 or so.
