I lowered the trackbar last night when I was testing and that really helped settle the back end down. I still want it to rotate on corner exit, but not to the extent that it was.
I will try to get on this evening as long as the family doesn't have other plans in mind for me.

wow 1:15's and 1:16's on this new build? I will try lowering the trackbar like Jason said, but not sure how I am going to pick up another 2-3 seconds. I am glad this first race is a pre-season race and no points for it.

I am glad this first race is a pre-season race and no points for it. I was determined to get into the 16's and did many laps. That was nearly three hours of practice and the tires cannot sustain that type of driving for more than a few laps. I did lower the track bar to 14 or 13 CM. I softened the rear a touch as well. Also, if you haven't done so, there is a setting in the player.JSON (something to that effect) that is called ~"Auto Lift" that is set to false. Dan suggested setting it to true and I find it makes a big difference on the downshifts. I (and others) were experiencing rear lockup if downshifting too rapidly. I found it helped me have more confidence entering corners. Thanks again, Dan!

I will make those changes and try it again, I was also having rear lockups downshifting too quickly. Thanks for the tips.

I find that the "downshift lockups" are down to rev matching, if I don't get it spot on then the rear will lock. If you're using auto-clutch this may be harder to sort out, not sure whether autoblip does a good job or not. I'm pretty much on the same times now as I was on the old version but it's taken some laps and a lot of tweaking. Happy to share my setup (I'm not bullet fast)with anyone who wants it.

Was on the server tonight running some laps, either my graphics started messing up, or it got dark. Either way, the lights are not very bright.

I tell ya the steering in 481 is really starting to annoy me its nice & firm in pit but as soon as I put it into gear it goes limp as I just got no feel to the car it feels like the car has no weight

I figured out why it looked so dark, when I change the HDR profile from anything other then Automation it makes it look like just after sunset. Put it back to Automation and it's nice and bright.
