What's really bugging me is the 360 degree steering lock. That's way too fast for me. Think I'll try to override that in my wheel settings. When I tried out the Holden, a few guys were complaining and asking why the steering ratio is not adjustable. Someone else said that's the way it is in the real car so suck it up. As far as the car, I was able to get it around the track at Bathurst, and I was less than 6 seconds behind the fastest lap times. I didn't put much time in though, so I'm sure I could find at least another second or 2. Yes it is still powerful and can get loose real easy, but as long as you know and respect that, it's ok. I did a lot of races in the IndyCar road series last season and I think that really helped. You really need good throttle control with that car as it can spin out in a heartbeat. I even did a 21 lap race at Spa with Zero incidents while staying on the lead lap. I felt really good about that race. I can make the Friday night race. I work Saturdays, but it is really slow so I can slack off if I need to. If someone makes a GBR paint, I will run it. Otherwise I will get another USMC paint made and run that. |

What we should do is be representin' GBR at the V8SC Americas official races on Thu and Fri nights (7:15 Pacific). I plan to be a regular there for the winter and Chris seems to be at most events too if he has the track. I'll probably join you guys also. Now how do I get one those nice GBR skins? |

I don't think there is a skin yet...unless Snappy is already on one. The paint on my car is just one of the stock options. Though I may eventually try to put something together that's similiar. If the paint was done so the colors were different layers, it "should" be easy enough to do multiple cars with different accent colors (in theory).

Snappy, assuming you have Win 7 or 8 you have Snipping Tool installed. It's the easiest way to take a screenshot of an application window or just select a rectangular area for screenshot. I use it so much it's pinned to my taskbar.
