Heads up to anyone planning to run the V8SC Americas series... when Daylight Standard Time kicks in the start time for us goes back an hour.
6:15 Pacific, 9:15 Eastern.
This takes effect for Road America, Week 2.

Heads up to anyone planning to run the V8SC Americas series... when Daylight Standard Time kicks in the start time for us goes back an hour. 6:15 Pacific, 9:15 Eastern. This takes effect for Road America, Week 2. Really looking forward to that race tonight. I see some of you raced last night. I wouldn't have raced with you even if I was there since it split. What do you guys think, should I drop my iRating so I can race with you guys? Or should I just get blown away in the top split? |

Ugh, that's going to blow. I don't get home until just before 6. Talk about no practice.  I don't know that I'd sacrifice the iRating for that. That will impact the other series you race in too. But ultimately the decision is yours. And just a heads up, odds are good we'll have 3 if not 4 splits tonight. Friday usually brings in nearly twice the people the Thursday races do...and we had 30+ last night. The combination of new car & free track are bringing out a lot of people that are pretty new to the car. |

Run what you brung. I'm working hard to get out of the bottom split... I think you'll find the top split more of a challenge.

Don't worry, I was joking about dropping my iRating. I won't drop it intentionally. I really don't worry about it at all anymore. It goes up and down, but lately it has been staying around 2700-2800, so that is probably where it should be. I just run races, try to have good battles and finish as clean as possible.

I just did some hot laps. I was the last car in the top split. Those guys are fast. I finished 17th of 18, but I had zero incidents and stayed on the lead lap.

I can't drive the car consistently. Got my lap time down to low 1:38s. Even managed a 1:37. Terrible. I've been thinking something is wrong with my USB port. I have to constantly recalibrate my pedals after every race, practically. Not good when I'm trying to manage the throttle on a V8SC.
