Can somebody post the tune we used at WG? I had to reinstall Iracing to fix the brake bias problem I was having and doing so I deleted the tune.

Haha. I was just about to go looking through that thread for it for you. Thanks Chris I did a couple laps with the WG tune and for me the car did not feel right. The car has so much understeer and on kemmel straight the car felt under powered(I was barely getting into 6th gear at the end of the kemmel). I made a couple changes but I know its not going to work for everybody. Hopefully we can work on something soon that will work for everybody. |

Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply. I was on vacation and just got back last night. I was looking at the driver assignments and my drive times are ok. I am used to staying up late since I started working the night shift.
You have the local time wrong for Zed and my first stints. Zed's stint should be local time 2040-2300 EDT. My stint should be 2300-0120 EDT. EDT is 4 hours behind GMT, not 3. Sheldon is the one who is 3 hours behind GMT. All of the other times appear to be calculated correctly.
I haven't been able to try the setup yet. It should be ok with some minor changes. I will check it out tonight and post any changes if I make them.

Driving times are ok with me. I jumped on a practice session last evening and did a few laps. There did appear to be a little bit of understeer, more so after the tires warmed up. But that could be more a combination of my driving and the track temps. I am starting to realize how important track temps are in iracing (and generally lower the better  ). It also seemed to help to take the curbs a bit to get the car to rotate. The gearing may need a little tweaking. I did not seem to use all of 6th gear, but again possibly my driving style. |

Running the set I posted I was able to get down to a 2:22.6 w/ an optimum lap of 2:22.4...and it felt a little more stable than Boza's set. My best w/ Boza3 was a 2:25.1, though I suspect I could've gotten down into the 24s with a few more laps. I also think due to the duration of the race, the standard gearset is better than the short, especially if we end up pulling a draft down the long straight.

I'm afraid I will have to pull out of this one. I have been having an ongoing problem with my wheel. It keeps disconnecting for short periods of time while driving. It almost always happens on corners and it seems to be getting worse. At first I thought it was the CSW V2 base because that is when it started. But now it is also happening with the CSW V1 base. I tried running a few laps last night and had a disconnect when pulling out of the pits.
It may be driver or firmware related because it didn't start until I updated those. It might also be related to iRacing. I tried PCARS for a little while last night and it worked fine there. I'm going to try to completely uninstall and reinstall iRacing to see if that helps.
I will have a definite answer by tomorrow, but for now it's not looking good.
