Oh, and like kurupt said in another post, the skin pack also has to be loaded on to the server, I should have known that as we do that for SPAZCAR also.

If you've never done a .veh file, I'll try to explain it. First copy any .veh file from one of the Super V8's in game. Give it the name of your skin (Body) file just to keep it simple. I'll use the one I'm working up for Tony as an example. Once you have that, open with notepad and change the lines as shown.(Use your own info of course) Then save (Not save as) All cars must have a team name and it can not be the same. But for instance, GSCE lets two cars be shown from the same team, so if two guys want, say like Bob and Jason, they can put the same team name (Such as "Lang Racing") in the spots provided and the two cars will show up in the teams as team cars. Otherwise, all cars must have unique team names. If you already know how to do this and can explain it better, please do. EDIT v1.50: In the .veh file above you will see where it says "classes=reiza21" That must now read "classes=SuperV8", I don't know why they would make such a minor change, but they did.

And this is how you name the windows if you choose to use them. FYI they're all blank, you have to make them yourself.
superv8_ext_glass= ??Window.dds' superv8_int_glass= ??Extra0.dds' superv8_lights_glass=??Headlights If you use the headlights (for color) you need to add this line Extra1="Headlights" in your .veh under DefaultLivery="??.dds"
The name of your .dds goes where all the ?? are.
NOTE: If you change the Headlights file name to Extra1, ex. carnameExtra1.dds you do not have to add the line to the .veh for headlights.

Same for me Dan, if we do end up doing a series. I guess that will make me 6 on the wish list.
A nice Rothmans Racing #41 will look cool.

@tony D. Your car looks nothing like that when I save it with photoshop. Gimp must be treating the Alpha layer differently then PS. I'm not sure how Gimp is set up. but when your looking at all your layers, look for a part that says Channels, and click on it. It should have what looks like 5 layers in it (RGB,Red,Green,Blue and Alpha1). Click on the Alpha and it should show a grey color representation of the car. Sample the color with the color picker and make it a little darker, then paint the layer with it and save.
If you can do this, it should remove the glow, if it's still to shiny for you, make it a little darker, if it gets to dull, go the other way and make it lighter.
When I get done with your windows, your car will be done anyways, but keep practicing.
P.S. I think Jimmy uses Gimp, he may be able to help find the right buttons if you can't find them.

@tony D.
Don't forget to remove the files from the game after you get done messing with it. If we run a series, we don't want your skin files to mess with the ones in the skin pack that we will have to make.

That's bad ass Jason. How far did you have to tweak the Alpha to get the mat finish?

A tip to the new painters... if your skin isn't the same file size as those bundled with the game then you're saving in the wrong DDS format.
