I just canceled my Xbox One and Forza 5 pre-orders. I used the $30 to buy my son more Skylanders, which will get way more use by him than Forza 5 would by me with no wheel. I also will hold off on the Playstation 4 for a while, although I suspect that I will end up getting it sooner than later for games such as Drive Club and next gen Madden, neither of which can be played on PC.

My 360 has sat disconnected since I started with you guys here. I just connected it in my kids' playroom for DVDs and eventually they can play games on it. I am considering keeping the m$ wheel for them to learn how to drive sims but it will be on FM4, not 5 I have very little desire to get either of the new consoles. I'd probably switch to PS before getting the new XB.

Just over a month until this game launches. I will likely take the day off from work and iRacing to play it all day. Might even do the midnight opening deal at Game Stop.

if GT6 truly has 3 screen support as good as GT5 then the time may have come for me to pick up a couple more PS/3's

Only problem is getting a hold of 3 copies of GT6. If that's how it works on the PS3. I know it did on the 360. You probably can get two more PS3's for under 300 combined.

Digital download the game? I have researched that option but have seen no confirmation that Gran Turismo 6 will be available via PSN digital download. That is partly why I pre-ordered three GT6 disks from Game Stop. The Game Stop disk edition also has the 25 free cars with it.

I picked up GT6 yesterday from GS, so I have the extra cars. How do you guys feel about having to acquire the National A License before you can get to online lobbies or do the seasonal events? I didnt like it at first, but its not hard or long to do. I'm ready to race online whenever you guys are!

I do not mind having to acquire the A license. It took me 1-2 hours.
I usually try to race GT6 online on Thursday nights, but that has been rare lately. I will make sure you are on my PSN friends list paradox.

Yes smokey, GT6 does look and feel better than GT5. Loving the game so far. Only downside out of the box is no multi-monitor support, but I am sure that is coming in an update. The Day 1 patch is 1.2 GB, but it downloaded and installed fast for me. The game menus are much faster than GT5. My CSW wheel and Clubsport pedals work fine, as does my Basherboards SFA-1 connected Thrustmaster THR8S shifter. The FFB is definitely improved over GT5, I feel what the car is doing much better. The graphics are a big step up from GT5, the lighting is particularly striking. There is some minor slowdown when there is a lot going on on screen, but it is minimal. The cockpit views look awesome, even higher end than GT5. The AI is no walk in the park, but if you have a good car and avoid crashing, you can win each race. The 25 15th anniversary edition cars have been a life saver, otherwise the game would be much more of a grind. Cars and upgrades are expensive and the event payouts are somewhat stingy. It is awesome to have so many new tracks. Matterhorn in particular looks amazing. The graphics of the cockpits and some tracks rival Forza 5.
