does it look any better than GT5? I thought the demo looked a bit better. Certainly the cockpit view seemed better with more body motion apparent. My copy is apparently delayed with courier company due to 'mechanical difficulties'... So looks like no GT6 for me till Monday

I'm having all kinds of trouble getting my GT2 wheel to work right with this. It works. But I can't assign any buttons or do any fine tuning. Any help would be appreciated. Just so you know, I have never used my wheel with the PS3 before.

Dan, Try going into options /steering control/driving force pro. Thats was the default for fanatec wheels in gt5.

Yes smokey, GT6 does look and feel better than GT5. Loving the game so far. Only downside out of the box is no multi-monitor support, but I am sure that is coming in an update. The Day 1 patch is 1.2 GB, but it downloaded and installed fast for me. The game menus are much faster than GT5. My CSW wheel and Clubsport pedals work fine, as does my Basherboards SFA-1 connected Thrustmaster THR8S shifter. The FFB is definitely improved over GT5, I feel what the car is doing much better. The graphics are a big step up from GT5, the lighting is particularly striking. There is some minor slowdown when there is a lot going on on screen, but it is minimal. The cockpit views look awesome, even higher end than GT5. The AI is no walk in the park, but if you have a good car and avoid crashing, you can win each race. The 25 15th anniversary edition cars have been a life saver, otherwise the game would be much more of a grind. Cars and upgrades are expensive and the event payouts are somewhat stingy. It is awesome to have so many new tracks. Matterhorn in particular looks amazing. The graphics of the cockpits and some tracks rival Forza 5. only just found ya post lawyer thanks for the write up. I wont be getting this one but when GT7 comes on PS4 ill get that also I cant imagine how good GT7 will look should be pretty stunning on the 4.

Just so you know, I have never used my wheel with the PS3 before. You need to put the wheel in PS3 mode. That should give you sufficient functionality. I have never tried to map buttons in GT and so I cannot help you there. The Fanatec wheels are not officially supported and so I suspect that button mapping is going to be a PIA.

@ Craig. I was referring to the mapping of the buttons.

@ Craig. I was referring to the mapping of the buttons. Understood. I never have been able to change the default Logitech button mappings for my Fanatec wheels in GT5. I have not tried in GT6.

I believe It was for the 911 wheel which is pretty much the same parts as the gt2. I know that because I installed a gt2 rim on the 911 base.
