What's the overall condenses for gt6 iam contemplating picking up a ps3 to play this game if it's worth while?
Few questions that will help the decision....
Is there enough cars that can be customized to create wtcc/btcc, gt3 and dtm?
How is the current track selection ?

There are over 1200 cars available in the game, but I do not know enough about car classifications to gauge whether there are a lot of cars within the three classes you have identified.
The track selection is only rivaled by iRacing, and exceeded by rFactor. There are 39 tracks, with more to come. Overall, they look fantastic, particularly when you consider that the PS3 is over seven years old. The selection is also diverse. No sim does original tracks better than GT.
GT5 was my favorite game of all time, but I am quickly coming to the conclusion that it has been eclipsed by GT6. The graphics look great, although they are a step below Forza 5, iRacing, Project CARS and Assetto Corsa. The FFB and physics are also fantastic and are definitely comparable to the PC sims. The career mode is good fun, with lots of special events, coffee breaks and weekly "seasonal" events with good payouts. There is a ton of variety in types of racing. The game even has rally and cart racing!!! You can use your current generation Fanatec, Logitech or Thrustmaster wheels. The only wheel out right now that won't work with GT6 is the brand new Thrustmaster TX wheel.

ya me & mate first found out about 'closing' games with Motorstorm about yr ago  plus with GT5 they are closing Resistance games we love the 8 player co-op of it |

Pick up a ps3 from a friend this week $40  and will be grabbing gt6 to play....iam actually pretty pumped to play this and it looks like a lot 2o4f guys have switched over as well and will be running nightly events. I was looking at the games features and there's a few to come that are really great....... In a upcoming update a feature/app will be released allowing you to download gps track data to create ingame tracks and will be able to share and race ingame also the track builder has been vastly expanded. Tons of cars including super tourers Community features seem very similar to fm4 with teams and sharing etc. Interesting fact I was unaware of..... New suspension and tire physics using real life data from Yokohama and KW suspension, kW owns simbin and simbin uses both Yokohama and kW suspension data in RRE & DTM experience. It's a shame this game wasn't a ps4 launch title. I did pick up the GameStop pre order version of GT6. Now I just got find a PS3 lol
