Gigabytes bios updated us breeze. It not like the old days when you crossed your fingers and hoped for the best..lol

Modern motherboards are so much better than the click-and-pray of the past. Dual-BIOS boards FTW. You screw it up? Just use the switch or jumper and load the other BIOS.

Ya spaz I've done heaps of gigabytes over the yrs (all cheap boards) But my MSI MPOWER was dear as piss it was a click & play (their update program) and it killed it so I hit switch for 2nd bios but was told on MSI forums to change it & fix corrupt bios as backup bios is pretty basic but I couldn't fix it tried heaps lol

So this weekend I got 3 bsod's memory management errors. So I ran memtest86 on each stick of ram individually. 1 stick of ram is bad, let it run for 10 hours, 9 passes and got over 800,000 errors. The 3 other sticks are fine. I have turned in a RMA to gskill to get it replaced since they have a lifetime warranty on their ram. Good thing I have 4 sticks of ram because I have to send the bad stick back with the other stick it came with.
