Really frustrated with Automobilista. Installed new v1.4, deleted Bathurst.tdf and still getting mismatch connection lost when connecting to server. Will try one more time by deleting all tracks and start over with the 3 track updates. These updates should of been automatic through Steam. I know it must be me but just venting.

The tracks are 3rd party tracks so that is why steam is not updating them. Im really sorry for all the trouble Ed. I didn't think the tracks would be getting updated and cause so many issues. Let me know if you need any help.

Do you have the updated track pack from the first post in this thread. Apparently it needed an update as well and JImmy found the new pack.

I may not make this one, PC is acting up, one time it will load something and the next it wont. I'm thinking the HD with windows on it is failing on me. Doing a disc check now.

So i just realized that I can't change the name of my profile, I can only create a new one which will reset all of my settings. I can do this before the next race but not before tonight, I don't have a ton of time to practice and need to use all the time I can today to do so. Sorry guys!! My name is Cody Warner though.

Don't worry about it tonight. There is a way to change the .plr file. I will see if I can find what you would need to change but it's not a big deal and I don't want you to lose all of your setting by creating a new profile. Let's get you on the grid tonight and worry about the name change after the race. Also don't worry about the name change, I am sure everybody will say I am to blame for it.  |

That tutorial was written before the Steam version of rFactor. IIRC, on some installs you may have the necessary folders/files in your Documents folder. |

Is a very easy process once you understand the structure of the folders, Cody.
You can create a new profile, in fact, and keep both. One with a nick name, other with the real name.
But dont worry about tonight. Just show up and race!
Btw, your friend Hunter is joining us today?
