Got some practice in and since nobody else was around I decided to advance the session to race to try it at night. Was able to run an entire race and got my pit strategy figured out. For me it was a 2 pit stop race. The tires were yellow the last few laps of a fuel run and I was losing about a second or 2 per lap, but it was still better than adding another pit stop. I was able to complete 33 laps.

This mod has probably my favourite intro of 'all' racing/driving games  The video might lack the bling of a lot of other games but it is spot on as to what this mod is. Plus the intro music fits extremely well. |

The tires were yellow the last few laps of a fuel run and I was losing about a second or 2 per lap, When you came on tonight I was testing well into the yellow... I started losing 4 seconds per lap. They fall off very fast. |

Good luck in the race tomorrow guys. Will be looking forward to seeing the replays. I would have raced but going to the BTCC. although I will sign up for the next one Worthy excuse. I'm jealous!  |

Damn, I pipped Boza for fastest lap but did so at 12:04. 3 minutes after I said I'd be cutting off the results. Oh well, I'm still front row and I think I like the outside anyway. Hey guys,
Apologies for bailing on this race too. While I love the Mustang, it does the weirdest thing. At 1/2 tank of fuel pretty much on the button the car acts like its completely on ice and I'm on slicks. My tires are fully green (I was running medium tires) with 1 bar of wear on them but I have NO grip, the car won't brake in the normal zone. It is truly freaking weird.
With F1's permission I'd like to look at a different car for the remainder of the series. If not, I'll gracefully bow out.

Sadness, over 200 laps of practice on and off line and I get dumped off the server after a few laps of the race...Did notice things seemed a little jerky yesterday but I reset the computer and it seemed fine...Knight is cursed on Sundays.

Ouch.  I was wondering what happened to you. I was just about to ask how you were getting along. You must have extremely heavy internet traffic in your area on Sundays, and overloading the network. Hopefully they get around to fixing that in the near future. |
