I'll pick it up if there is online play. I have very little interest in racing AI any more.

I'll wait for some reviews first and see what' features available .
After reading its available features... Decent chunck of cars 4 tracks Not sure what 12 special events are but no ai races or multiplayer...currently just a hotlapper.
I already have a game like that in RRE so I think I ll wait for more features, on an upside steam has it listed for $39 usd a post I read earlier had it at 39 or 49€ which would have been around $60-70 cdn I wonder if the price will increase as it gets closer to completion?

I'm working from home today and just fired up the computer and purchased it. It's downloading now.
I know it's still in beta and doesn't have a lot of the features, but I'm excited to test it out. Only $39.99 USD and this will give you the full version when it comes out later. Already had $39 in my PayPal balance, so a no brainer for me.

There's not much more than what the tech demo has asides from more cars and 4 tracks they should have just updated the demo.
I've yet to hear if tire compounds, and wear have been added to the build and with no ai still not able to see how this game will perform with a full grid? From what I recall I was just getting 60 fps in practice.
I look forward to your guys reviews!

Spent 15 min in it and tried a few of the cars (Ferrari, BMW GT3, and the Lotus 49). Graphics are excellent. The fov is a bit off for me and I don't see an option for multiview, so the side screens look a bit off. Lighting is amazing. I tried a couple different times of day and it looks really cool. Physics are good, but not rF2 or GSC good. It may be the limited selection of cars or maybe I need to tweak a few settings. The bumps in the road aren't translated very well, similar to Iracing. Again, I haven't had a chance to try all the yet. The cars seem very drivable, including the Lotus 49. Good amount of grip, but not arcadey type grip. I did spin out a couple times when pushing really hard. As you know, it's just hotlapping with no AI or multiplayer for now. Don't be in a rush to buy it, but I knew I would buy it anyway so why not now. They definitely need more race cars added to the list. The 458 had stock suspension and tires. Fun to drive, but I want the full on racing version. I also hope Spa is released soon. The current tracks are kinda boring.

Tire wear was in the settings Kurupt. I noticed that and fuel usage can be increased or turned off.
The in game HUD leaves a lot to be desired, but it's clean and not in your race.

It's definitely more grippy than the rF2 version (which I really like by the way, just haven't spent much time in it). I'll spend some more time with it this weekend and report back. I'm sure Craig and a few others here will as well.

LOL - I'm already getting shit from a guy over at VirtualR for stating a quick opinion. I even got accused of being an ISI "fan boy". Pretty funny. www.virtualr.net/assetto-corsa-beta-version-available#comment-1114596023Me: Physics in rF2 are the best of any sim IMHO. I still believe AC has a ways to go in that dept. However, the graphics and lighting in AC are ... Some guys response: ISI Fan Boy..... it´s more than obvious this is the reference from now on!!!! RF2 has to work a lot on tweaking real road and tire model to have the feel and fidelity AC has!!!! My response: I didn't realize stating my opinion made me a "Fan Boy". I'm not dogging on AC's physics. So far from the limited time I've spent in AC, it's solid. I just feel rF2 is better at this point. I see you enjoy the physics of pCars based on your previous posts, so we will agree to disagree what constitutes good physics. I purchased AC on day one (today) and also had the "Tech Demo" previously. Lots of promise here.
